Are Liquid Biopsies Applied Across Every Type of Solid Tumours?

Liquid biopsies have for long received enormous attention due to its clinical immediate application in daily practice. This short review focuses in how the detection of circulating tumour cells (CTCs) and/or circulating tumour DNA and RNA (ctDNA/RNA), from peripheral blood, have prognostic and predictive impact across the most common type of solid tumours. In the era of Precision Medicine liquid biopsies have revolutionized the era of translational research wilt direct benefit in the quality of care of our patients and with high public interest.
